Step 1: Access Text-To-Speech Gifts
- Locate Text-To-Speech Gifts: Use your screen reader to navigate and tap on the "Text to Speech Gifts" option in the settings menu.
Step 2: Select Language and Accent
- Choose Language: On the left side of the screen, use your screen reader to navigate through the list of languages. Select your preferred language.
- Choose Accent: On the right side, choose the desired accent if available for the selected language. Your screen reader will read out the options as you navigate.
Step 3: Select a Voice
- View Available Voices: All available voices for the selected language and accent will be listed. Your screen reader will announce each voice as you navigate through the list.
- Choose a Voice: Tap on the voice you would like to use. Your screen reader should confirm the selection.
Step 4: Configure Gift Settings
- Navigate to Gift Settings: Find the "Gift Settings" section using your screen reader.
- Set Minimum Coins Gifted: Adjust the minimum number of coins gifted to trigger the event. Your screen reader will announce the current setting as you navigate.
Step 5: Configure Text Template
- Navigate to Text Template: Find the "Text Template" section using your screen reader.
- Add Text: Enter the text that should be read out when the gift event is triggered. Your screen reader will assist you in typing and editing the text.
Step 6: Start Alerts & Text-To-Speech
- Go Live on TikTok: Ensure you are live on TikTok before proceeding to the next step.
- Start Alerts & Text-To-Speech: Use your screen reader to locate and tap on the "Start Alerts & Text-To-Speech" button. Your screen reader should confirm that the sound mode has been started.
